THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THIS CAR IS BEING OFFERED FOR SALE. THIS IS A 1997 FIRST EDITION JAGUAR XK 8 IT IS A ONE OWNER CAR BOUGHT NEW AT THE LOCAL JAGUAR DEALER AND SERVICE BY THEM FOR MANY YEARS. THE CAR WAS ONLY USED DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS AND STORED IN A CLIMATE CONTROLLED GARAGE WHEN NOT BEING USED. THE ODOMETER SHOWS JUST 30,112 MILES. THE ENGINE RUNS FLAWLESSLY AND IS SILKY SMOOTH WITH PLENTY OF PEP THERE ARE NO ENGINE NOISES AND THERE IS NO REASON TO BELIEVE THAT THERE ARE ANY ISSUES MECHANICALLY THE INTERIOR IS IN EXCELLENT SHAPE WITH NO TEARS OR EVEN MUCH WEAR AS USUALLY FOUND ON THE DRIVERS SEAT BOLSTER. THE WOOD IS GREAT WITH NOT ISSUES, ALL OF THE GLASS IS CLEAR & WITHOUT DEFECTS, SCRATCHES OR CHIPS. ALL THE ELECTRICS ARE IN WORKING ORDER. THE WHEELS ARE IN WONDERFUL CONDITION WITH NO CURB RASH, BASHES OR SCUFFS NOR ANY STAINING. A RELATIVELY NEW SET OF MICHELIN 245 50 R 17 TIRES HAVE REPLACED THE OE PIRELLIS THE TOP IS IN GREAT SHAPE AND WORKS AS IT SHOULD. THERE IS AN ORIGINAL JAGUAR ENVELOPE TO COVER THE TOP WHEN IT IS DOWN. THE SPARE WHEEL & TIRE STILL CARRIES THE ORIGINAL TIRE AND I BELIEVE IT HAS NEVER BEEN MOUNTED TO THE CAR. A JACK AND FACTORY TOOLS AS DELIVERED ARE STOWED IN THE BOOT
